How the Hunt Works

The Basics

  • Each image blends references from two different movies into one scene.
  • Your mission: identify both movies.
  • Type your answer - a dropdown will suggest movie titles.
  • The difficulty level determines your potential points.
  • For movie franchises, the general title is enough (e.g., 'Back to the Future' works for any film in the trilogy)
  • Keep an eye out! A movie might return in another mashup with a fresh pairing.
  • The images are 100% AI-generated and curated by humans—these are not actual movie scenes.

Scene Hunters images are designed to evoke well-known U.S. and international films for gameplay and trivia.

Bonus Points

+2 POINTS – FIRST SHOT BONUS (per movie)
Earn +2 extra points for each movie identified on your very first attempt. Important: This requires a perfect streak. A single incorrect guess at any point will disable this bonus for the rest of the scene.
