Welcome to Scene Hunters, , the ultimate AI-powered movie mashup challenge. By accessing or using the Scene Hunters platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Use of the Platform

Scene Hunters is an interactive game that challenges users to identify two different movies merged into a single, AI-generated image. Access to certain features may require account registration and, in some cases, payment. Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All game mechanics, source code, logos, databases, text, and the unique selection, arrangement, creative direction, and curation of the AI-generated content are the exclusive property of Scene Hunters. While the underlying AI-generated visual outputs may be subject to varying copyright laws depending on jurisdiction, the compilation of these assets within the Scene Hunters platform is protected as a collective work. You agree not to copy, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Scene Hunters platform itself.

3. Content Usage and Sharing

We encourage you to share your achievements, but we must protect the integrity of our game assets.

WHAT YOU CAN SHARE:
  • Your scores, rankings, usernames, progress, and gameplay achievements.
  • Screenshots of gameplay that include the Scene Hunters user interface (UI), logo, and overlay. We encourage you to share your progress on social media!
  • Original content about your gaming experience (reviews, discussions, social media posts).
  • Non-commercial sharing with proper attribution by mentioning "Scene Hunters," tagging our official social media account, or including a direct link to our website (https://www.scenehunters.com).

WHAT YOU CANNOT DO:
  • Extract, scrape, or download the raw image files from the platform source code.
  • Share the AI-generated images in isolation (without the game context/UI) for commercial purposes or as standalone wallpapers/artworks.
  • Remove any watermarks, logos, or copyright notices from the screenshots.

PERMISSIONS YOU GRANT: By sharing permitted game-related content publicly, you grant Scene Hunters a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to repost, feature, or use that content for promotional purposes, always with attribution. Scene Hunters may also highlight player scores, usernames, or non-sensitive profile data (e.g., country, level reached, leaderboard rank) in public rankings or promotional content. By using the platform, you grant Scene Hunters permission to do so, unless you opt out by contacting contact@scenehunters.com.

4. AI-Generated Content & Legal Disclaimers


4.1. Nature of Content: All images on Scene Hunters are synthetic creations generated by artificial intelligence with human creative direction. They are original abstractions designed solely for trivia and entertainment and are not film stills. Likeness Policy: Characters depicted are intended to be fictional representations or generic archetypes. Scene Hunters does not intentionally create or publish recognizable real-person likenesses. 4.2. Disclaimer of Non-Affiliation: Scene Hunters is an independent, fan-made trivia game. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or licensed by any film studio, production company, or distribution entity. All visual assets are synthetic artistic interpretations inspired by cinematic themes, designed to evoke concepts without reproducing protected imagery. References to movie titles and trademarks are used strictly under the doctrine of Nominative Fair Use (solely to identify the subject of the trivia). The visual imagery constitutes Transformative Work, utilizing techniques such as mashups, contextual re-framing, and parody to create new meaning distinct from the underlying source material. The game operates as a unique creative experience that comments on pop culture without serving as a market substitute for any film.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, for any actions for which we retain the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief.
